Emergency First Aid
Course Description
This course covers basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, ensuring that you are confident and capable of administering emergency first aid within and outside of the work place. This course is accredited by the Association of First Aiders and meets the requirements outlined by the HSE.
What Will I Learn
You will learn the techniques which will enable you to administer emergency first aid, covering the following;
- unresponsive and breathing
- having a seizure
- choking
- unconsciousness casualties
- Shock
- bleeding heavily
- burns
- monitoring and assessing a casualty
- Sudden poisoning

Assessment Type
At the end of the course learners will be assessed and presented with an “Emergency at Work” certificate that is valid for a further three years.
